Summer is around the corner, but don't let that be the reason you're hopping on the treadmill this spring. Nurturing your body and soul for your health, rather than the future man you'll meet on the beach in July, is what really matters. Looking good for yourself and feeling good in general should be your top priority, and everything else is just extra fun (wink, wink).
The gym girlies on TikTok inspired me to get my heart pumping and get active. Curating memes is amazing and all, but your body starts to hurt from sitting at a computer all day. First-world problem alert! It's true, though! The little gains—such as not running out of breath after two flights of stairs or hitting 20k steps after walking maybe 4k for the last year or so—is what you should be after. Being in touch with your body makes everything feel a little bit easier, but I don't have to lecture you. You're probably a gym girlie already, and a way better one at that.
